Saint-Gobain Quartz manufactures amorphous fused silica powders and grains with different compositions and particle sizes. The raw material is fused quartz (transparent, SiO2 > 99.96%).
Among the main characteristics of these powders and grains, you will appreciate the good dimensional stability (due to the fact the product is amorphous) , the chemical purity and high hardness of silica, as well as the excellent electrical insulation properties.
6 standard sizes range are available : from less than 50µm to several mm size range
Other particle sizes on request (up to 15 mm grain size)
